Daemen College has enjoyed a tremendous amount of recent success from its athletic programs. They have won seven American Mideast Conference North titles in the past four years. The women's basketball team has won four conference titles and participated in five NAIA National Tournaments since 1996 including the last three in a row. The men's basketball team has won three conference titles and made it all the way to the 'Elite Eight' of the NAIA National Tournament in 2004.The women's volleyball team has won three AMC North titles in the last four years. The women's cross country team has sent a participant to the NAIA National Championships twice in the last three years.

Daemen athletes have also excelled in the classroom. In 2005-06, Daemen's 53 female athletes had a combined grade point average of 3.14 led by the soccer team's average of 3.29. Twenty-nine of the 53 were on the Dean's List. Daemen has had 35 NAIA All-America Scholar Athletes.

The Wildcats are a member of the NAIA and the highly competitive American Mideast Conference. The AMC is the largest conference in the country with 19 schools and has had member institutions win several national championships during the last few years.
