Library Instruction
Reference librarians are available to give library instruction in classroom, small group and individual sessions. Instruction is provided on an introductory level to beginning students and on an advanced level to upperclassmen. Our intent is to help students become more effective and efficient at finding information.
The librarians demonstrate how to search the library catalog, general databases specialized databases and course reserves. We give tours of the library and welcome the opportunity to work with you so that library instruction is relevant to class assignments.
To set up library instruction, call the library at 839-8243 and ask to speak to Andrea Sullivan or Becca Bley. Alternatively, you can send an email to asulliv1@daemen.edu or rbley@daemen.edu
