Readings at the RIC

Readings at the RIC

Readings at the RIC is a series that brings outstanding poets to the Daemen Campus six times during the academic year--three readings in the fall semester, and three during the spring. The series attracts an audience comprising a wide variety of poetry lovers, including students from Daemen as well as other area colleges and universities. In its brief existence, the series has gained in prominence within the Western New York literary community and invited readers speak highly of the "Pad" as a place to read. Some have compared the space to the prow of a ship; others have called its casual ambience a throwback to the bohemian era of the 1960's and 70's.
