Daemen College Names Susan Fenster Marketing Director
Daemen College has named Susan Fenster director of marketing. Prior to her appointment, she had most recently been working for Daemen as an independent marketing consultant.

Fenster is also owner/principal of Susan Fenster Marketing, a full-service marketing company that assists businesses and not-for-profit organizations in meeting their expansion goals.

Reporting to the Daemen dean of enrollment management, Fenster will be responsible for a wide range of marketing-related functions, including coordinating an integrated program of market research (including systematic collection and analysis of data and information on the College's identity and brand equity among various audiences); evaluation of media advertising and publication programs; performing cost analysis on media placement in all advertising venues, including directories, newspapers, radio, television, outdoor advertising, and the web; and evaluating and coordinating Daemen College marketing and publicity initiatives.

In addition, as director of marketing at Daemen, Fenster will be key in creating unique advertising campaigns at the institutional level, which will be carried through to the department level. Also included will be working to implement a program to enhance Daemen's identity as a strong and effective independent College; assisting in media relations; and, together with Department across the College, developing a program of marketing communications in support of student recruitment, fund raising, and other external relations.

Fenster holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism, cum laude, from Buffalo State College. Prior to establishing her consulting firm, Susan Fenster Marketing, she had worked in the legal services industry for 15 years, most recently as Director of Client Services at Jaeckle, Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP. She was also the co-founder and editor of EVE Magazine, a regional women's magazine which had been formerly published in Western New York.
