Daemen College and Trocaire College Establish Dual Admission Program
Daemen College and Trocaire College have established a Dual Admissions Program. Students selected for admission through this program will, upon completion of a prescribed sequence of courses leading to an associate's degree from Trocaire, continue their studies at Daemen. Students will then be able to complete their baccalaureate degree at Daemen within four additional semesters of normal course load, with the possible exception of specific health-related and teacher-certification curricula.

Students accepted into the appropriate academic major through the program at Trocaire may select any Daemen major designated as parallel to the course of study chosen at Trocaire:

Trocaire College President Dr. Paul Hurley expressed his optimism that, "the new articulation agreement with Daemen College will be very inviting to students. Trocaire students are non-traditional and seek the options agreements like this provide. We look forward to working with our Daemen colleagues to provide Trocaire students the appropriate information to make a smooth transition to Daemen."

Daemen President Dr. Martin J. Anisman added, "We believe Trocaire students will feel very comfortable continuing their education at Daemen. Both colleges are dedicated to academic excellence and smaller class sizes, with excellent opportunities for greater student-faculty interaction. We are looking forward to welcoming Trocaire's students to Daemen."

Students may apply for entrance to the Dual Admission Program upon submitting an application for admission to Trocaire. All students will be expected to meet admission requirements for the appropriate associate's degree program at Trocaire at the time of their application. Candidates selected for the program at Trocaire will receive a letter of admission from Daemen College, establishing their eligibility to matriculate in the corresponding baccalaureate program at Daemen. Entry into the Daemen portion of the program will require successful completion of all associate's degree requirements at Trocaire, as well as completion of all requirements set forth in the Dual Admission Curriculum Guide, as established by both colleges.

Students who enroll in the Dual Admission Program will receive academic advisement regarding program requirements while attending Trocaire. For the summer and fall terms, students who anticipate enrolling at Daemen must file a Notice of Intent to Enroll by April 1; those intending to enroll for the spring terms must file notice by November 1.

Students seeking additional information on the Daemen College-Trocaire College Dual Admission Program should contact the Office of Admissions at either Daemen or Trocaire.
