Daemen College Physical Therapy Alumni Scholarship Dinner to Honor Three
The Daemen College Physical Therapy Department, together with the Alumni Relations Office, is sponsoring a Physical Therapy Alumni Scholarship Dinner. The dinner will take place 6 p.m., April 19, at the Delaware Park Casino in Buffalo. Ticket price is $40 per person.

The dinner will recognize three individuals for their contributions to the field of physical therapy in Western New York.

Susan E. Bennett, P.T., Ed.D., is a 1977 graduate of Daemen College. She is currently clinical associate professor and director of the Physical Therapy Program at the University at Buffalo. In addition, Dr. Bennett is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at the University at Buffalo. She is a contract physical therapist for Kaleida Health/DeGraff Memorial Hospital, and a research associate in rehabilitative medicine for the Kaleida Health System.

Dr. Richard Schweichler, P.T, DM, is the founder of the Daemen College Physical Therapy Program. Additionally, Dr. Schweichler served as director of the Daemen PT program for 27 years.

Christine J. Kluckhohn, P.T., is vice president of the Catholic Health System's rehabilitation services Partners in Rehab and Athleticare. She is a Sports Certified Specialist (American Physical Therapy Association) and a Certified Athletic Trainer. Additionally, she is an adjunct clinical faculty member at Daemen College, D'Youville College, and the University at Buffalo.
