Bonnie J. Bugbee Named Prospect Research Associate for Daemen College
Daemen College Vice President for External Relations David A. Cristantello has announced that Bonnie J. Bugbee has been named prospect research associate for Daemen College. Most recently development associate for prospect research for Niagara University, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications/history and an Associate of Arts in humanities from Canisius College.
In her new position, Bugbee will be responsible for identifying prospective donors, including individuals, corporations and foundations, and overseeing the alumni/development
database.
“Bonnie brings considerable skills in managing a complex computer-based records system,” noted Cristantello. “Her experience gives the Daemen development program added depth and strength. We’re extremely pleased to have her with us.”
Prior to joining Niagara University’s development program, Bugbee worked as advancement records manager for Canisius College, where she managed and maintained a database composed of more than 50,000 individuals, businesses, corporations, and foundations. She holds memberships in the Association of Fundraising Professionals; Council for Advancement and Support of Education; and the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement. Bugbee is a library trustee for the City of Tonawanda and the Erie County Library System, and an active member of the American Baptist Churches of the Niagara Frontier. In addition, she was actively involved with the Broad Street Baptist Church of Tonawanda, where she served in a wide range of capacities, including church chairwoman, chairwoman of the board of deacons, and chairwoman of the Board of Christian Education. She has most recently been elected to the Board of Trustees for the YWCA of the Tonawandas and will assume those duties in September.
Bonnie and her husband, David, are residents of Tonawanda.
