Bob Beiswanger Named Among Top WNY Executives
Beiswanger is among those selected by Business First for its “Buffalo 612” awards

Robert C. Beiswanger Jr., Vice President for Business Affairs and Treasurer of Daemen College, has been honored as among the best of western New York’s top-level executives.
Beiswanger was selected by Business First for its “Buffalo 612” awards, which recognize top CEO, CFO, and COO level leadership.
A 30 year Daemen employee, Beiswanger has been Vice President for Business Affairs and Treasurer of the College since October, 2001.
“Bob has proven himself to be among the top executives in western New York,” said Daemen President Gary A. Olson.
“As our Vice President for Business Affairs, Bob provided the business acumen and guidance that made Daemen’s two highest profile projects – the Research & Information Commons and the Haberman Gacioch Center for Visual & Performing Arts – tremendously successful.”
Beiswanger holds an MBA from the University at Buffalo. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting, and a Bachelor of Arts in history.
As Daemen’s chief financial officer, he has primary responsibility for the financial and administrative functions of the College including finance and budget, treasury, business services, facilities planning and construction, and personnel. He oversees the offices of the Controller/ Assistant Treasurer, Bursar/Student Accounts, Financial Aid, Physical Plant, Information Resources Management, Personnel, Security, and the Campus Bookstore.
Reporting to the President, he is part of the senior administrative team as a member of the Cabinet. In addition, Beiswanger serves on the Trustee Committee for Business Affairs, Buildings and Grounds, and the Investment Committee.
A longtime member of the Daemen community, he has been involved with the planning, financing, and construction oversight of nine major capital projects on campus, including the Research & Information Commons; Gacioch Center; Thomas Reynolds Special Education Center; Wick Campus Center addition; Campus Drive Apartments; renovation of Rosary Hall; Daemen Business & Commence Building; Schenck Hall; and the Daemen Athletic Facility.
Beiswanger is currently a member of the Board of Directors of MusicalFare Theatre Company, WNY Health & Welfare Consortium of Educational Institutions, and Town of Amherst Meals on Wheels Program.
He has also served as a member of the Buffalo/ Niagara Partnership Erie County Stabilization Project, Town of Amherst Senior Advisory Board, and Western Region Director of the New York State Organization of Bursars and Business Administrators, among others.
He was the recipient of the Daemen College President’s Award for Outstanding Administrator and awarded a Certificate of Appreciation of Service from the Grand Island Town Board.
