            The Daemen College Health Care Studies Program / Holistic Wellness Initiative will co-sponsor a homeopathic seminar on Saturday, October 29, 2011, from 9am-5 pm in 107 Schenck Hall, on the Daemen campus.  Daemen will collaborate with the Himalayan Institute and Homeopathic Healers, founded by Dr. Arup Bhattacharya, PhD, HD (RHom), HMD, Researcher at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, in Cancer Prevention and Control.            

           The seminar, “Is Homeopathy Effective Against Cancer?” will present findings of homeopathy protocols in cancer prevention by Dr. Prasanta Banjeri and Dr. Pratip Banerji.  Among the questions to be addressed will be: Is homeopathy effective against cancer? How does it compare with conventional therapies? Can it treat human cancers, such as glioblastoma multiforme, that are currently not amenable to conventional therapies? Both doctors will be traveling from India for the seminar.  

         

           Registration cost (includes lunch) $85 for registration between  August 15 and September 30. Registration after September 30th, 2011 is $105.
