Daemen College Winter Institute will host faculty and students from Brazil who will spend nearly two weeks at the College from January 4-17.  They will attend classes and lectures in the Daemen physical therapy program. This agreement is part of global educational outreach at Daemen College. Daemen currently has over 100 international students, representing nearly 40 countries.

The students and faculty, from the Brazilian Institute of Higher Education of Censa (ISECENSA), are the first to travel to Daemen as part of a Memorandum of Agreement recently signed which will provide opportunities for teaching and learning in the two countries. Brazil is one of the world’s fastest-growing major countries, and has the world’s fifth-largest economy – the second-largest in the Western Hemisphere – according to the World Economic Forum.
