Daemen College has been named by Victory Media to the 2013 Military Friendly Schools list. The 2013 list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities, and trade schools  doing the most to embrace America’s military service members, veterans, and spouses as students and ensure their success on campuses nationwide.

“Our veterans and their families sacrifice so much for our country. They need and deserve our support. Education is a critical component of their transition from military to civilian life. Daemen College is pleased to be among those colleges and universities providing the military community with much-needed, world-class resources to assist in their future success,” said Daemen President Dr. Edwin Clausen.

Daemen College welcomes applications from veterans. Through the Daemen Center for Veterans and Veteran Family Services the College provides aid and assistance to veterans seeking a degree. The Daemen Student Veterans' Alliance, led by Frank Grillo, a U.S. Army combat veteran, provides resources, support, and advocacy needed to help veterans succeed in higher education and following graduation.
