Daemen College has named D. Scott N. Warman to the Daemen Board of Trustees. Warman is Executive Vice President & Treasurer at Manufacturers and Traders Trust Co. (M&T Bank) in Buffalo. Warman holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with Honors,
from Canisius College.

He has held additional senior management positions with M&T, beginning in 1995, including Vice President, Administrative Vice President, and Senior Vice President. Warman is Co-Chairman of M&Ts Asset/Liability Management Committee. He has also served as Co-Chairman of the Enterprise-wide Risk Management Committee.

Warman has also held positions as Derivatives Portfolio Manager and Vice President with Crestar Bank, in Richmond, Virginia, where he was responsible for the management of all facets of Crestars involvement in the derivatives markets.

Warman began his banking career with M&T Bank in 1988. He is a member of the BAI Treasury Conference Planning Committee and repeat Chairman of the Conference. He is a frequent speaker at BAI events which include Treasury, Community Bank, and National Loan Review Conferences.  He is a member of the RMA Retail Risk Planning Committee and was a speaker at their 2006 Conference.  Warman is a permanent member of the National Asset Liability Management Association (NALMA), and he is also an active member of a privately organized Treasurers Peer Group comprised of leading banking organizations.

He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society for Business Schools and received the Fred J. Schoellkopf Scholarship for Excellence in Management and Leadership. Warman received the American Institute of Banking Accelerated Banking Certificate in 1989. He is a resident of Clarence.
