Daemen College is among Western New York colleges and universities offering the best local return on tuition costs, according to a recently released nationwide report by www.payscale.com . The report compared the costs of over 1,500 schools.

The website measured the worth of America's colleges and universities by comparing the cost of tuition with the median lifetime earnings a graduate might expect. The website determined that Daemen is among those colleges representing a very good return on investment.

"Daemen College is focused on offering exceptional educational value for tuition dollars," said Daemen President Gary A. Olson.

"The report cited several Daemen health care career programs as offering top return on tuition. Daemen College degrees for graphic artists and designers, now including a first-of-its-kind Visual Effects Certificate Training program, were also noted by the website."

The Daemen health care careers cited included Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.); Physician Assistant (PA); Nurse Practitioner (NP); and Clinical Nurse Manager.

The Western New York colleges and universities included in the report -- with ranking and 30-year return on investment -- are ranked as follows (source: www.payscale.com):
