Daemen College to Offer Veterans Financial Fair and Free Income Tax Preparation on March 23

This week Daemen College will offer a Veterans Financial Fair and free income tax preparation. Information will be available on educational programs, buying homes, credit problems, and much more.
This event will take place Saturday, March 23, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Daemen College, Wick Center, 4380 Main Street, Amherst, NY.
PLEASE NOTE: Free income tax preparation is available at the March 23 event to veterans and members of the general public with incomes of $51,000 or less, filing a standard deduction or schedules A and B. Call 2-1-1 to make an appointment.
Preparation is done by certified Daemen accounting students and sponsored by C.A.S.H. of United Way, the Daemen College Center for Sustainable Communities & Civic Engagement, the Daemen Office of Veterans and Veteran Family Affairs, and the Daemen College Accounting Department.
In addition to this event, free tax preparation is still being offered by Daemen accounting students at Depew Senior Center; Boulevard Federal Credit Union; Gerard Place; Eden Library; and the Hennepin Center. Call 2-1-1 for a schedule and to make an appointment.
