The 2012/2013 Daemen College Film Series will begin Monday, October 1, 2012, with a showing of “Bread and Chocolate.” 

 

An Italian film, “Bread and Chocolate” stars Nino Manfredi as a poor worker who travels to Switzerland to improve his lot, resulting in a series of comedic and tragic encounters immigrants might face. Commentator: Claudia Novak.          

 

All films in the Daemen College Film Series are shown 7:30 p.m. on Monday evenings in Alumni Lounge in Wick Center on the Daemen campus, 4380 Main Street, in Amherst. They are free and open to the public.
