Daemen Names Sylvia Muhr College Bursar, Lisa Arida Named Chief Accountant

Daemen College has named Sylvia Muhr College Bursar, in the Office of Student Accounts. In this position, Sylvia will be responsible for overseeing the billing and collection of all student tuition and fee revenue.

For the past 14 years she has served in various staff and administrative positions in the Daemen Business Office. Most recently, Sylvia held the job of Chief Accountant. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Medaille College. Sylvia and her family are residents of Clarence Center.

The Daemen Business Affairs Department has also named Lisa Arida Chief Accountant. Lisa is a 1988 Summa Cum Laude Daemen College Accounting graduate.

Lisa has a number of years of professional experience, both as a Certified Public Accountant and as controller for a small business. She has also been an adjunct instructor in Accounting in the Daemen Business/Accounting Program for the past year. Lisa and her family live on Grand Island.
