Daemen Names Thomas P. Wojciechowski Director of Web Communications
Daemen College has named Thomas P. Wojciechowski Director of Web Communications. Wojciechowski was most recently Web Communication Specialist with HealthNow (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) in Buffalo. A Buffalo native, he holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Arts from UB, where he is presently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts.
Prior to working for HealthNow, Wojciechowski lived in the Washington, DC area, working for Freddie Mac and Howard Hughes Medical Institute in software programming and intranet developer positions. As Director of Web Communications, he will be the team leader for managing all of Daemen’s web related information, website transformation initiatives, and will manage day to day web activities.
As Web Communications Specialist for HealthNow Inc., Wojciechowski’s responsibilities were wide ranging, some of which included: developing web communication approaches to meet business needs; web design, navigation, and graphics; coordinating development efforts with BITS Web Team; and ensuring that all related company sites followed branding guidelines. He was also responsible for the overall look and feel of external division sites.
Wojciechowski served as Lead Software Programmer for Freddie Mac, in McLean, Virginia, from March 2001 – August 2005, and as Intranet Developer for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, in Chevy Chase, Maryland, from August 99 – March 2001.
