Daemen sophomore Jaleesa Dukes has admired U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor ever since her nomination to the Court in 2009. So much so that she decided to write the Justice a letter. Two, in fact.

 

 

She could not have been more surprised at the result: an invitation from the Justice’s staff, to come to Washington, D.C. for a visit. And a private meeting.
