Applications are now being accepted for the 2011/2012 Joan Cooper Stovroff Scholarship for Future Women Entrepreneurs. The award is for $2,000.00.

 

Criteria are as follows

Daemen College sophomore and junior female students enrolled in any approved, accredited academic program.

 

Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average.

 

Priority will be given to Western New York residents demonstrating financial need.

 

Eligible students will submit an essay, not to exceed 5 pages, describing their post-graduate, entrepreneurial aspirations, with preference being given to plans focused on Western New York.

The deadline for submitting applications is April 15, 2011.
