Daemen College and The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Cultural Mission to the United States have signed an agreement to engage in a cooperative and collaborative relationship.
The agreement was signed during a visit to Daemen by Abdelhafid El Idrissi, Affiliations Coordinator; and Dr. Samar Alsaggaf, Director of the Health Sciences Department, of the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission to the U.S.
“The cooperation and collaboration between Daemen College and the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission will take place on multiple levels,” said Daemen President Dr. Edwin Clausen. “We view such cooperation as a better way to utilize resources, and provide opportunities to assist in the development of students, faculty, and staff between American educational institutions – in this case Daemen College – and Saudi Arabia. By working together, we will potentially strengthen and enhance both academic missions.”
During their visit to Daemen College, the representatives of the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission were given a campus tour, and met with Daemen faculty and administrators. The representatives also met with seven Saudi Arabian students who attend classes at Daemen (six undergraduate, and one graduate student).
