Lauren Metzger Named Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations
Daemen College has named Lauren Metzger Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Daemen College. She was, most recently, the Youth Market Fundraising Director for the American Heart Association in Buffalo. Prior to that, Lauren was Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations at Daemen, a position she held for over two years; she began her new position, as Director, January 20.
As Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations, Lauren’s responsibilities will include the creation, development, implementation and oversight of programs that enhance the College’s good will with alumni, friends and the community, leading to increased contributions and involvement in College and alumni activities. The Director works closely with the Vice President for External Relations, Trustee Development Committee, and Alumni Board of Governors to develop creative strategies; short and long term measurable goals; and an operational plan for the Daemen College annual giving and alumni relations programs.
Lauren is a former resident of West Seneca, and attended West Seneca West Senior High School. She presently lives in Cheektowaga.
