Nicole Chimera has been named an assistant professor in the Daemen College Athletic Training Dept. Chimera was most recently an Assistant Clinical Professor at Northern Arizona University. She brings experience in teaching in accredited athletic training education programs and research; her work has appeared in many professional publications.
“We look forward to Nicole lending her expertise in educating the athletic training students and guiding them through their research projects,” said Lynn Matthews, ATC, PT, DPT, Director of the Athletic Training Education Program in the Daemen Athletic Training Department.
Chimera earned her Ph.D. in the Biomechanic and Movement Science Program from the University of Delaware, and a Masters of Education in Kinesiology from Temple University. Her Bachelor of Science, in Athletic Training, is from West Chester University.
