Prominent Judge Joins Daemen Trustee Board

Judge Kevin M. CarterKevin M. Carter, a prominent judge for the Erie County Family Court, has joined the Daemen College Board of Trustees. Carter, who has served as a judge since 2003, received his B.A. degree in philosophy from Canisius College in 1986 and his J.D. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1989.

Before becoming a judge, Carter worked as a private practice lawyer specializing in domestic relations, personal injury, and criminal and real estate cases.

A past member of the board of directors of the SUNY Buffalo Law Alumni Association, Judge Carter lives in Orchard Park.

He was re-elected in 2012 after running unopposed in the general election and receiving the endorsement of both the Republican and Democratic parties.
