THE WHISPERER, a new and original play about cyber-bullying, written and performed by Daemen College students, will be given a special "reprise" performance on WEDNESDAY, MAY 9, AT 6.00 p.m. in Wick Center on the Daemen campus, 4380 Main Street, in Amherst. Admission is free to the public.
THE WHISPERER is about cyber-bullying and social networking media.
Developed from the ground up by a very talented group of Daemen students under the direction of Dr. Robert Waterhouse, THE WHISPERER is a superbly executed, engaging, and powerful piece of theatre about bullying. The play runs slightly under an hour. "The Whisperer" embodies the Daemen mission to use education to "elevate human dignity and foster civic responsibility and compassion."
This reprise performance is especially aimed at teachers, teaching artists, educators, school administrators, or others who may be interested in all or part of the show. Post show follow-up in the form of optional Q&A, break out discussions, additional questions regarding touring to schools, colleges, or community centers is also planned for the evening. All are welcome.
