February 8, 2012

Information:   Christopher LaBanca

The Aegis Project will tour Western New York college campuses in March in recognition of Women’s History Month. The Aegis Project will present William Mastrosimone’s play, ‘Extremities,’ at Daemen College, 7:00 p.m., March 6, in Wick Social Room on the Daemen campus, 4380 Main Street, in Amherst.

This performance is open to the public, and admission is free. Students will be accepting donations at the door for The YWCA of the Tonawandas.

The production is part of a larger project to raise rape awareness on college campuses throughout Western New York. The play’s production on each college or university campus is also focused on empowering students to take a stand against sexual violence – both on campuses and in the community. The event is being co-hosted at Daemen by the Sister To Sister student organization.
