The 2012/2013 Daemen College Film Series will continue Monday, January 28, 2013, with a showing of “Last Train Home.” 

 

            Each year 130 million Chinese workers who have moved to cities travel home to celebrate the New Year with family.  Director Lixin Fan explores some of the effects of industrialization on Chinese family life.  Commentary will be by Associate Professor of History and Government Dr. Andrew Wise.

 

All films in the Daemen College Film Series are shown 7:30 p.m. on Monday evenings in Alumni Lounge in Wick Center on the Daemen campus, 4380 Main Street, in Amherst. They are free and open to the public.
