Assistant Professor of Athletic Training

 

Job Summary:  12 month, tenure track Director/Assistant Professor position in the entry level Masters in Athletic Training program.  The anticipated start date is Fall 2010.

Requirements:   Applicants must be a BOC certified athletic trainer currently registered in NY State with a doctorate degree in Athletic Training or a related field. A minimum of 5 years clinical experience and demonstrated excellence in teaching in higher education are also required.   Applicant must also be willing to teach in the College's integrated core curriculum.

In his senior year, Lance Perry learned about a national conference featuring his major, human resources management, to be held in Dallas, Texas. Everyone from his friends to his professors up to and including the dean encouraged Lance to attend this event. They all felt he would gain valuable insight from attending. He applied for and won an award scholarship to cover his fees at the conference. It proved to be a great experience in many ways, and in the end solidified his commitment to his major
