Professional Development Grants

Daemen College has internal funds available to faculty for travel and research funding, summer stipends, and release time awards. More information about these opportunities is available in the Faculty Handbook: Chapter XV. Faculty Development.

Externally-funded professional development grants allow faculty, and in some cases administrators, to travel abroad, research, or generally expand your knowledge in your discipline. The following links provide information about external professional development funding opportunities.

National Endowment for the Humanities NEH Summer Stipends support individuals pursuing advanced research that contributes to scholarly knowledge or to the public's understanding of the humanities. Fellowships and Faculty Research Awards support individuals pursuing advanced research in the humanities that contributes to scholarly knowledge or to the general public's understanding of the humanities.
