- Attend
all departmental meetings and meet with your advisor frequently.
- Read the
course catalog as it will describe your major and courses.
- Meet your
professors. This will give both of you an opportunity to learn about
each other
- Professors
enjoy knowing who you are.
- Obtain
a syllabus for any new course you're interested in before taking that
course.
- Attend
all classes.
- Arrive
to class early.
- During
class, sit near the front.
- Be attentive
and bring your books with you.
- Try to
ask a question and answer a question in each class.
- Professors
are here to help you succeed. Give them a chance to do that.
