The Co-op and Career Development Department provides a variety of services for employers.
These services can help with short-term and long-term employment needs:

Free listing of job openings on our website including a link to your company website Campus visits to participate in job/career fairs and on-campus recruitment  Co-op student placement

Posting Employment Vacancies:  Employers may call our department (716-839-8334), fax a position announcement (716-839-8439), or e-mail Maureen Pernick Huber, Director, Co-op and Career Development,  mhuber@daemen.edu to list any internships, part-time, full-time, or summer positions available within your organization.

On Campus Recruitment:  Employers are invited to campus to explain their organization's function and role in their respective field. Representatives from the organization have the opportunity to meet students interested in Co-op, summer, part-time or full-time employment. Please call our office, 839-8334 to schedule a visit!

Developing a school-to-work link:

Co-op: Cooperative education allows the employer to meet cyclical, project or short-term employment needs with a pool of productive, highly-motivated temporary employees in related academic disciplines. By working with our Co-op staff, you can have pre-screened candidates referred to you for a one- or two-semester commitment, to work from four to forty hours a week. Chelsea Foss had two important criteria to narrow down her college search. The school had to be in the Northeastern United States, and it had to have a physical therapy program. The Holden, Maine native aspired to become a practicing physical therapist with a specialization in pediatric care, and she chose Daemen College to help her reach her professional goals.
