Affirmation Program from Welcome Back Weekend

The second of the two Welcome Back weekend programs was developed through Career Services and was presented by Dr. Maureen Millane, Director of Career Services and Mr. Lamark Shaw, Assistant Director of Career Services. They led a presentation on how affirmations can support students’ career and/or graduate school goals. Then students developed and wrote down their affirmation related to a major personal academic goal, to which they are committed. At the end of the program, student leaders and faculty individually photographed freshmen (a Daemen "selfie") holding up their affirmations.  More information forthcoming!
