Maureen Millane, PhD, Director

Dr. Millane joined Daemen in 2011 as the new Director. Dr. Millane is an honors graduate with a BS from Cornell University, MBA from Canisius College, and a PhD from SUNY at Buffalo. She also completed an executive leadership course at Harvard. Previously, Dr. Millane served as associate dean of another college where she founded a Women’s Business Center. Her experience also includes hiring, training and managing employees for Hilton and Marriott Hotels in Chicago, Seattle, San Juan, Houston, New Orleans, Pittsburgh, Providence and Washington D.C. Dr. Millane currently serves on the board of directors for the P2 Collaborative.
 
Krista Paszkowsky, MS, Assistant Director

Mrs. Paszkowsky joined the team in 2005 and is an honors graduate with a BA in Speech Communication from Ithaca College and MS degree in Student Personnel Administration from Buffalo State College. She is an active member in WNYACCC (Western New York Association of College Career Centers) and the National Career Development Association. Previously, she worked at another college in Career Planning as a Graduate Assistant and also was a Vocational Specialist at a social services agency.
 
Regina Rexford, MS, Career Counselor

Mrs. Rexford joined Daemen College in 1997 and currently serves as a career counselor. She is an honors graduate and holds a BS in Art and MS in Executive Leadership & Change, both from Daemen College. Regina also has completed Career Coaching coursework from NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employers) and is certified to conduct Strong Interest Inventory assessments. Regina is a member of WNYACCC, NCDA, NACE, and The American Potters Association.
 
Lou Ann Mages, MS, Career Counselor Assistant

Mrs. Mages joined the team in 2011 as a career counselor assistant. She has a BS from Daemen College and a MS in education from SUNY at Buffalo. She is also certified in Business and Distributive education. Lou Ann was a Substitute Teacher at Amherst High School.

 

Lamark Shaw, MS, Instructor

Mr. Lamark Shaw is an adjunct professor at another college where he has taught Sales Principles, Business Principles and Career Management.  His primary position is the sales manager and buyer for United Men's fashion in Buffalo, New York.  Mr. Shaw has a BS in Design from Buffalo State, a MS in Organizational Leadership from Medaille College and an Entrepreneurial Leadership cerfificate from the University of Buffalo.  Mr. Shaw is enrolled in the PhD program at Capella University.
