Maureen Millane, PhD, MBA, Director
Dr. Millane is an honors graduate with a BS from Cornell University, MBA from Canisius College, and a PhD from SUNY at Buffalo. She also completed an executive leadership course at Harvard on performance metrics. Previously, Dr. Millane served as associate dean of the business school at another college where she founded a Women’s Business Center. Her experience also includes hiring, training and managing employees for Hilton and Marriott Hotels in Chicago, Seattle, San Juan, Houston, New Orleans, Pittsburgh, Providence and Washington D.C. Dr. Millane currently serves on the board of directors for The Washington Internship Institute and the Amherst Senior Citizens Foundation, is a member of Leadership Buffalo and is also a docent for the Albright Knox Art Gallery.
Regina Rexford, MS, Career Advisor
Mrs. Rexford joined Daemen College in 1997 and currently serves as a career advisor. She is an honors graduate and holds a BS in Art and MS in Executive Leadership & Change, both from Daemen College. Regina also has completed Career Coaching coursework from NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employers) and is certified to conduct Strong Interest Inventory assessments. Regina is a member of WNYACCC, NCDA, NACE, and The American Potters Association.
Lamark Shaw, MA, Assistant Director
Mr. Lamark Shaw is Assistant Director and an adjunct professor who teaches CFE101 at Daemen College. Mr. Shaw also is the Sales Manager/Buyer for United Men’s Fashion in Buffalo, New York. He has a BS in Design from Buffalo State College, MS in Organizational Leadership from Medaille College and an Entrepreneurial Leadership Certificate from the University of Buffalo. Mr. Shaw is currently working on his PhD in Organization and Management at Capella University.
Michelle Thompson, Employer & Student Relations Coordinator
Michelle Thompson is the Employer and Student Relations Coordinator. In addition to providing administrative support and supervising the Career Peer Coaches, Michelle is responsible for the project management of career fairs and onsite employer recruitment. Having previously worked at Autism Services, Inc. and the Research Foundation of SUNY Buffalo, she brings with her an extensive background in projects management, grants management, budget development, fiscal forecasting, personnel and office management. Michelle also volunteers her time at Pets Alive WNY animal rescue.

Career Peer Coaches are on hand to assist students with their College Central Network account, build their resume, job search strategies, answer questions about graduate school and other services. They can be found on campus in various locations or in our office. Set up an appointment by telephone, email, or stop by Career Services in Wick.
