Computer Recommendations

Recommended Minimum Configurations

The following recommendations pertain to the purchase of a new computer. Please keep in mind that we do provide as well as require residents to install Symantec Endpoint Protection. Purchasing additional antivirus software is not necessary or recommended.

Memory (RAM): 3GB
Hard Drive: 160GB

**We would like to remind new and current students that Daemen is a wireless campus. Therefore laptops would be a  recommended choice in regards to mobility and practicality.

Additional Recommendations

Printer: Printers are recommended but not required. On campus student computer facilities provide all students with 300 pages of free printing per semester. 
Flash Drive: 4GB or higher
Carrying Case: If a laptop, tablet or netbook is purchased a carrying case would be recommended for safe mobility.
