Who Can Participate?
ALL majors are welcome to participate! In the last two years Daemen students from the following majors have studies abroad:
French, History & Government, Spanish, Physician Assistant, Elementary, Education, Graphic Design, International Business, Special education, English, Accounting, Art and Art Education, and Physical Therapy
Where can I study?
Daemen currently has programs in: Seville, Spain, Athlone, Ireland, Mexico City, Guanajuato, Nova Scotia, Quebec & British Columbia, Havana, and Cuba

How Long Can I Study?
Most programs offer a variety of options:
- Full Academic year
- Fall or Spring semester
- 4-8 Week summer programs
- January Term
- During Spring Break
When can I go?
Anytime after your Freshman year, up to and including the summer after you graduate!
Some graduate programs at Daemen have SAB opportunities too!
REMEMBER…once you graduate you cannot ask your boss for a few months off to get
international experience. College is the time to do it!!

What are the programs like?
You room with a local family or rent an apartment, so you really get to know the people and the culture. In January term programs we provide local, authentic accommodations. Native and local directors, guides & instructors are used.
You have opportunities to visit many historical and cultural sites as part of your program. There are also additional opportunities for further travel before or after your program.
What are the classes like?
A variety of courses are offered to complement any major; art, language, history, environmental science, education, business, sociology, health professions, and more.
Courses are taught in English or the language of the host country, depending on your interest- language courses are at the appropriate level for YOU!
Coursework is in your major, a minor or area study or the core electives.
Is it Safe?
Daemen follows all U.S. State Department recommendations. Daemen has personal contacts with local people, instant internet & phone communications, orientation programs, printed and website information as well as additional insurance for emergencies.
