Why Beijing?
BUCM (Beijing University of Chinese Medicine) is one of the oldest institutes of higher education in China for traditional Chinese medicine. Beijing is one of the world's largest cultural and political centers and hosted the 2008 Olympic Games. It is a large city and the capital of the People's Republic of China. It is host to many cultural and historical sites such as the Forbidden City, the Great Wall of China, the Summer Palace, the Old Summer Palace, and the Temple of Heaven. Both the Old Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is also home to a multitude of parks, bridges, pagodas, and museums including but not limited to: the Pagoda of Tianning Temple, Pagoda of Cishou Temple, Jade Belt Bridge, Beijing Botanical Garden, Beijing Zoo, and the National Art Museum of China. Beijing is also known for their delicacy - Peking Duck.
Beijing is a large metropolis and has an extensive public transportation system. It is accessible by train, car, and airplane.
