Study in Florence
Why Florence?
Florence is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The 14th- century Cathedral and its Dome dominates this city- the cradle of the Renaissance. It is a vibrant, modern city, with fabulous art and architectural treasure! The world famous Uffizi Gallery contains works of art by artists like Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael, amongst others.
Florence is surrounded by hills and lies in a valley of the Arno River, in the heart of the Tuscany region. NECA offers opportunities for students to explore Florence and its surroundings with off-the-beaten path excursions. These include day trips to Pisa, Siena, and the Chianti region. Florence is centrally located for easy travel in Italy and Europe.
