Proposal Development

Whether you have been awarded numerous grants or have never written a proposal, the Academic Grants Office will work with you to assist with proposal preparation. Services include:

 - obtaining guidelines from foundations/agencies
 - assisting with letters of inquiry
 - assisting with drafting narratives
 - assisting with budget development
 - printing and copying proposals
 - providing supporting forms and documents
 - drafting letters of support
 - mailing or transmitting proposals
 - assisting with post-award reports when needed

The Academic Grants Office has print copies of what many consider the best guide to proposal preparation: The Grantmanship Center's 48-page guide: Program Planning and Proposal Writing. If you are a Daemen employee and would like your own guide, contact the Director of the Office of Academic Grants.
