Initial Planning Meeting.

December 16-February 18th

Resumes submitted by candidates and Committee review of same.

December 13-January 30th

Active Search by Chair of Search Committee to institutions, organizations or individuals suggested by the Committee members. (February 18th proposed deadline for consideration of credentials of candidates.)

Week of March 3rd

SKYPE Interviews with Semi finalists chose by Search Committee for such interviews.

March 10-15th

Spring Break at the College.

Week of March 17th

Committee reviews note and analysis regarding SKYPE interviews and final discussions of those candidates selected for reference checks.

Week of March 24th

Committee members call references of those selected for final review and due diligence.

March 28th

At regular meeting, report on reference checks and other due diligence on finalist candidates. Selection of consensus candidates to come to Daemen for on-campus interviews.

April 17th

Meeting with Dr. Olson and Search Committee to discuss finalist slate of candidates invited to campus for interviews. Letter drafted and sent to finalists for on campus interview the week of May 5th.

April 18-22nd

Spring Holiday

Week of May 5th

On Campus Interviews conducted, with Search Committee, students, faculty, other stakeholders on campus, and Dr. Olson.

Week of May 12th

Selection by President of Final Candidate for Position of Vice President for Student Affairs.
