Criteria for Commencement Walking Eligibility

General Information

Non-graduating last semester students (undergraduate and graduate) are permitted to walk in the May Commencement ceremony provided they meet certain requirements at the time of the ceremony; that is, such students are cleared for walking in the same manner that graduating seniors are cleared.

You must apply in writing by completing the Commencement Walker Application form; applications will be accepted in the Registrar's Office until end of business on WEDNESDAY, 24TH MARCH.

Only students with approved walker applications will be permitted to walk at Commencement.

The application guides you through the process, and explains criteria requirements by which to gauge your walker eligibility.  Click here to read/print Walker Application form.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please address your inquiries to Dr. Theresa Joyce, Associate Registrar tjoyce@daemen.edu.

We know what employers expect and we make sure our students develop the professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to solve problems they need to be successful. Change is something we all confront and in these stressful economic times we know our students will have an edge over many other candidates who have not had internship experience.
