Criteria for Commencement Walking Eligibility

General Information

Non-graduating last semester students (undergraduate and graduate) are permitted to walk in the May Commencement ceremony provided they meet certain requirements at the time of the ceremony; that is, such students are cleared for walking in the same manner that graduating seniors are cleared.

You must apply in writing by completing the Commencement Walker Application form. There will be additional information regarding Walking in the beginning of Spring 2015 semester. Our office will be accepting Walker Applications after the Spring 2015 semester starts.

Only students with approved walker applications will be permitted to walk at Commencement.  The application form will guide you through the process, and explain criteria requirements by which to gauge your walker eligibility.

In Daemen, I took ESL classes to improve my English. I worked at Canavan Desk and made a lot of friends over there. I participated in a Business dinner with my professors. I was invited to join a family party by my professors. During the weekends, I often take the school shuttle to the shopping mall. These experiences helped me to ease into the American-style of study, life, and business.
