Move-In Information

While COVID-19 guidelines continue to be ever-changing, we have spent a great deal of time considering a move-in plan that is being developed and will be available later this summer.

Prior to your arrival in August, all students will need to reference your Check-In Central on MyDaemen for your and if you are cleared to check-in. You will receive an email on how to access this information once we are closer to move-in.

More detailed information about Move-In.

What to Bring Checklist

Insurance Requirements

All resident students at Daemen University are required to have sufficient health insurance that will cover illness and injury in the Amherst/Buffalo, NY area.

Students must provide proof of active health insurance (waive) OR enroll in the Daemen University Student Health Insurance plan EACH ACADEMIC YEAR (prior to moving into the residence halls).

For more information about student health insurance requirements. Students who have not provided proof of insurance by move-in day will not receive keys to move in.

Roommate Preference Form

Once deposited, students will receive a Roommate Preference form from the Office of Admissions asking various questions about how the student prefers to live. After the deadline the Residence Life Office will do its best to pair students in doubles or triples. Roommate information will be distributed electronically.
