Why haven't I received an orientation packet yet?
All students who have paid their tution deposit will be sent orientation materials (beginning in May). If you have not received a packet, please contact the Admissions Office at 716-839-8225 to verify your deposit status.
I have already attended college and I came for a campus tour/Open House, do I need to attend orientation?
YES!!! You may have attended college in the past but you have not attended DAEMEN COLLEGE. The Transfer Orientation will update you on the policies and services specific to Daemen College. All new students are required to attend an orientation program.
Where do I park during the program? Where do I go to check in?
For the summer program students may park in any Daemen College lot. Parking passes are not required during this time. Check-in for students will be held in the Wick Center.
When is Orientation?
This year's Transfer Orientation Program will take place on August 14, 2006.
Will I receive a confirmation that you have received my reservation for the program?
You should receive a letter confirming your reservation for the orientation program approximately one week after we've received your registration form and payment.
How long does the Transfer Orientation program last?
Transfer Orientation is a one-day program. The program begins at 9:00am and ends at approximately 3:00 p.m.
May I register for classes without turning in my immunization records to health services?
New York State Public Health Law 2165 requires all college students to show proof of immunity to measles, mumps and rubella before being able to register for classes. This documentation needs to be on file with Health Services before a student will be allowed to register for classes. There are no exceptions. Send your records to Susan Girard in Health Services NOW to avoid complications in registering for your classes.

Does my financial aid automatically transfer with me?
No! Transfer students must complete the FAFSA application which should include Daemen College's federal school code 002808. If you have already completed FAFSA and did not include Daemen's school code you will need to make that correction on your Student Aid Report (SAR) or online at www.fafsa.ed.gov if you completed your FAFSA online. Any questions regarding this process should be referred to the Daemen College Financial Aid Office at (716)839-8254.
I am a readmit student. Do I still need to attend orientation?
Readmitted students are NOT required to attend an orientation session.

How do I get my Student ID?
You will receive your student ID during the orientation program.
Do I need a parking permit?
Not for the orientation program. You will receive information about acquiring a parking pass during the orientation program.
