A Note From the Director

Welcome to the Office of Residence Life at Daemen College!  By making the decision to live on-campus, you have chosen to be part of a close-knit community of resident students.  At Daemen, we strive to provide an on-campus living experience that fosters relationships and encourages  personal growth.   As an on-campus student you will be able to enjoy the freedoms of independent living, as well as practice the responsibilities that come with living with others.  We hope that, through this living experience, you will develop the skills necessary to thrive in both our local and global communities.

As you face the daily challenges this new experience will bring, please remember that the Residence Life staff is always available to offer you support when you need it.  In addition to our professional staff, student resident assistants (RAs) live in each building and serve as a resource for all  students.  Although it is up to you to make your experience a good one, we will help you with developing the tools necessary to succeed on campus and at Daemen College.

Please take the time to explore our website to learn more about what it’s like to live in the residence halls at Daemen College.  Here, you will find useful links to lists of what to bring to campus, our policies and procedures, and other helpful resources.  For current students, find out about our housing application process and RA recruitment.  You can also meet the Housing & Residence Life staff, and find out more about your building’s RAs.  By making the decision to live on campus, you will be at the center of everything Daemen has to offer.

We are here to help, so don't hesitate to call us or stop by and visit.
