Events and Athletics
Daemen College remains committed to providing a competitive athletic experience for as many teams and student-athletes as safely possible during the COVID-19 pandemic. Each team completed a resocialization period with specific guidelines established by the NCAA while also taking into account recommendations by the CDC, state and local governments. With a detailed COVID-19 testing plan for student-athletes and coaches, Daemen teams will return to athletic competition beginning in January 2021. Although contests will be taking place, no spectators will be permitted until further notice.
We are working on a policy to allow student workers to return to on campus positions if they wish to do so. This information will be shared with the campus community once it is available. Student workers who want to work on campus will be able to do so once they complete a pre-screen form, which has been sent out.
