Daemen College is currently searching for a strong, visionary leader for the Center for Diversity and Inclusion.  With a particular emphasis on creating and sustaining a culture that embraces and promotes diversity and inclusion in their broadest meanings, the new director will need to be a true leader in every sense of the word- creating a program from the ground-up that emphasizes holistic diversity education and programming for all members of the campus community.  The primary focus for this role will be on creating an environment where students of all color, race, nationality and sexual orientation feel accepted on campus and can view the world through other’s eyes.  The new director will serve as a student advocate and will be knowledgeable in what diversity in the broadest sense means.

The ideal will candidate will have a minimum of an earned Master’s degree in Higher Education, Education, or a related field and be able to place a particular emphasis on provide strategic leadership and have administrative responsibility for researching, developing, implementing and maintaining a range of successful practices for supporting a College climate that values and prioritizes equity, diversity and inclusiveness.
