In the midst of the first comprehensive campaign in its 70 year history, Daemen College is seeking a seasoned fundraising professional to serve as Senior Director of Development and Major Gifts Officer.  A critical member of the Development team, the Senior Director will provide direction to the cultivation and solicitation of major gifts and, in the absence of the Vice President, provide leadership to the division.

The selected candidate for this new position will be a strategic thinker, working closely with the Vice President and the Development team to develop and maintain a regular donor pipeline, execute comprehensive fundraising plans, and implement stewardship strategies.  The ideal senior director must have experience in the solicitation of large gifts and be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, results driven environment.  A bachelor’s degree and 5 years of progressive, institutional advancement leadership experience is required.  A master's degree and experience with Raiser's Edge software strongly preferred.
