Why did you choose Daemen?

I chose Daemen because I felt it would be the best fit for me due to its small community feel, and its academic opportunities. Daemen University is allowing me a direct route to my future career with unlimited support from others.

In what ways are you involved on campus?

I am apart of PASS, the Physician Assistant Student Society, and Cru.

What advice would you give to a prospective student?

When choosing a school, take into consideration everything. Cost, size, location, programs, etc. When it comes down to choosing, it is important to choose a school that works best for you, and only you. It is a very important and life changing decision to make, so do everything you can to ensure that you pick the best school for you.

What excites you most about being a tour guide?

I am excited to have the opportunity to meet many different prospective students from different demographics. I am also excited to be given the opportunity to promote my school in a positive way, and help boost its well deserved reputation.

What is your most memorable moment at Daemen?

My most memorable moment at Daemen was the PASS picnic during move in week. This picnic gave me the opportunity to meet some other freshman in the same major as me. It also allowed me to speak with some of the upperclassmen to learn more about the program and what to expect in the future.

How has Daemen changed or shaped your life?

Daemen has changed my life by giving me the opportunity to pursue a major that I am truly passionate about. I am learning an abundance of new material each and everyday> I have such a willingness to learn in order to take these next steps to reach my future career. Daemen has also allowed me to build life long connections with students who help me and motivate me to do better and try harder every day.

Who inspires you the most?

My older sister Jaclyn inspires me the most. She is currently a junior at LeMoyne College, also studying to become a Physician Assistant. Her persistence and motivation constantly inspire me. As being only two years older than me, and studying the same major, she is someone I can always go to for questions, advice, or just someone to talk to. Her hard work, dedication, and success show me that being successful in this major is achievable.
