Daemen created the WNY Wildcats program amidst the concern over the COVID - 19 pandemic for our local WNY students who may desire to remain closer to home for their future college experience.
You have been invited to reconsider Daemen as an option because you already met the admissions criteria at Daemen – there is no need to reapply! Simply fill out the quick interest form below and we will re-activate your prior application and issue you a new acceptance and financial aid packet for Fall 2020. Your personal admissions counselor will call you to discuss the program and explain the benefits.

Below are answers to frequently asked questions about the WNY Wildcats program:
Daemen College is a private, selective institution and we offer admission to highly qualified students that we believe will succeed at Daemen. We are offering this opportunity to previously admitted students from WNY who may desire to look at colleges closer to home during this unprecedented time.
No. If you choose to opt into the WNY Wildcats program you do not need to reapply. We will reactivate your previous application.
The deadline to respond to be eligible for this program is no later than August 1, 2020.
Yes. You will need to provide transcripts from the most recent institution that you attended. In addition, you may need to send us your final official high school transcripts showing successful completion of high school, if you have not already done so.
Your transcripts will be reviewed for transfer of credit. Your new acceptance packet will include a list of all the credits that will transfer. Daemen accepts up to 90 transfer credits, and we will work with you to create a personalized enrollment plan.
We also highly recommend that you complete your FAFSA and add Daemen so we may provide you with an updated financial aid award as well.

Yes! Daemen is committed to offering you the best scholarship opportunities that we can as part of the WNY Wildcats program. We will review your previous financial aid award along with your updated transcripts to allow for the highest award amount.
Housing is optional for residents of WNY. Daemen will be offering on campus housing for students enrolled in the WNY Wildcats program.
For our commuter students, we are conveniently located on Main Street in Amherst, just off the 90/290 interchange. So, you can enjoy your time on campus and be home in your own bed each night!
New Student Orientation will be on August 5th and August 20th. You can participate in either date.
Yes! Daemen is welcoming visitors to our campus. We have taken all the necessary steps for you to come and explore our campus in a safe, socially distanced manner. You can make an appointment to come to campus for a tour and to meet with an admissions counselor by calling us at 716-839-8225 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will notify you of your admission status within two weeks of receiving all of the necessary documentation for your admission review.
We think Daemen is the best kept secret in WNY! Our beautiful campus is located right on Main Street in Amherst. Our students are engaged in research, service and participate in over 65 clubs and organizations. They study diverse majors from business to psychology, healthcare, animation and education. Our faculty and staff care, really care about your success.
