Why did you choose Daemen College?

I chose Daemen College because of the small size and family atmosphere. The campus felt like home to me the second I stepped foot on it, and I became quickly aware of how caring everybody was.

Why did you choose your present major?

I chose my major because I knew I had always wanted to help others, and knew I could not stop my art career after high school. Art education seemed to be the perfect fit for me. I will help children or adults, while also being a practicing artist.

Please describe your academic experience at Daemen.

My academic experience at Daemen has been quite rewarding. It has been difficult getting used to college level work and classes but I am sure they will sufficiently prepare me for my future.

Do you live on campus? Please tell us about your on campus experiences.

I am a resident in the campus apartments this year. To be honest, I was nervous about living away from home freshman year, but after only a few weeks I had already made some of my closest friends. Being able to dorm has also given me more responsibility and independence.

What do you like best about Daemen College?

What I like best about Daemen College is the family atmosphere. There are so many people here that genuinely want each student to succeed and do everything they can to ensure that happens. on another note, I also appreciate how small the campus is, which almost eliminates the possibility of me getting lost, which is usually quite easy for me to do.

What is your favorite campus hangout? Why?

My favorite campus hangout would probably have to be the art studios in VPAC, that's where my friends and I are most of the time. I like to hangout there, mostly to finish up my projects but also because I love our art building.
