Why did you choose Daemen College?

I chose Daemen because of the small campus and the location. I liked how the class sizes were small, allowing me to connect with the professors more.

Why did you choose your present major?

Ever since I was little I knew I wanted to be a teacher and I love creating art so it just made sense for me to become an art teacher one day.

Please describe your academic experience at Daemen College. (Ex: It is challenging, but I know it will prepare me for my career, etc.)

It's been difficult managing homework, studying and having free time for myself, but I enjoy my classes and I know that managing my time will become easier.

Do you live on campus? Please tell us about your on campus experiences.

I decided to dorm on campus my freshman year and it was probably one of the best decisions I've made. I got to meet so many new friends and got involved on campus. I made some great memories with some great people and it was all because I lived on campus. I currently live in an apartment on campus and I'm continuing to make memories with some of my closest friends.

What do you like best about Daemen College?

I like how small the campus is, it's easy to get to my classes and I don't have to worry about being late. I also like how everyone, students, factually and staff, are so nice and helpful.

What is your favorite campus hangout? Why?

My favorite campus hangout is the Den, because I can get good food there and it is also a nice place to either hangout with some friends or study.

What clubs or organizations have you been a part of here at Daemen College? What kinds of things do they do?

I am a sister of Delta Phi Mu and I am so blessed that I get to call this wonderful group of girls not only my best friends but also my sisters. We are constantly looking out for each other and always laughing; there's never a dull moment with them. Not only do we help run events on campus like some TGIF nights, bake sales in Wick and games during Spring Fest, we also do lots of community service through the year. We participate in the Breast Cancer walk each year as well as the Veterans Walk and we also participate in Relay for Life. I am so glad that I became a part of Greek Life on campus. I am also a member of the Education Club on campus. We constantly are helping each other with our lesson plans and doing fun activities outside of school.
